Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Scaffold Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing scaffold systems that meet safety, structural, and project requirements. This role involves collaborating with project stakeholders, conducting thorough assessments, and creating innovative scaffold solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scaffold systems for construction projects based on project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Analyze project blueprints, site conditions, and access requirements to develop comprehensive scaffold designs.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for scaffold planning and design.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed scaffold drawings and plans.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations in all scaffold designs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to integrate scaffold systems into overall project plans.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams regarding scaffold design, installation, and usage.
  • Conduct structural calculations and analysis to validate the integrity and stability of scaffold designs.
  • Participate in project meetings, reviews, and inspections to ensure scaffold systems meet project requirements and quality standards.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in scaffold design and construction.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for scaffold design (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, accuracy, and adherence to project deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and work in various environments as required.
